2012, Our 20th Anniversary!
Please note:-
Our first meetings of the New Year wil be on Wednesday
the 1st and 29th of February, with only one meeting in March on
Wednesday 21st see below for workshop details.
After which we will return to the normal second
and fourth Wednesday of each month,
at 7.30pm in the Assembly Rooms,
Church Approach,
New Romney, as follows:-
April 11th & 25th.
May 9th & 23rd.
June 13th & 27th.
July Summer Break.
August 8th & 22nd
September 12th & 26th.
October 10th & 24th.
November 14th & 28th.
December 12th, Drinks and Nibbles Night.
MURDER MYSTERY WORKSHOP!
Our Wednesday evening meeting on March 21st will be a
Murder Mystery Workshop run for us by Jo Jager.
Guests and prospective new members welcome.
ONE WHOLE DAY WORKSHOP SATURDAY 31st MARCH.
On Saturday 31st March, Sarah Grazebrook will be running a day long workshop
At the Old School New Romney between 10.00 am and 4.30 pm approximately.
As before there will be a Buffet lunch provided and guests and prospective
new members are welcome. Further details will follow when available.
Marsh Ink Writers have flourished in New Romney since March 1992, but we are now, as always, on the lookout for new members.
We meet once a fortnight in the Assembly Rooms and take part in various writing activities, such as book reviews, short story writing for children and adults, magazine articles and poetry, as well as improving the quality of our own written work.
Pamela Oldfield, our late honorary president, ran an annual short story writing competition for us, has been a published author for thirty years and was familiar with the world of publishing. Marsh Ink also has a social side and you will find us friendly and eager to help you if needed. Why not come along and give us a chance?
