Finding us.

However you travel to join us,  on foot, by horse, or by some modern form of horseless carriage then, providing you haven’t blinked and missed New Romney completely, the easiest method of finding The Assembly Rooms is as follows.

Locate the cross roads about halfway along the High Street and turning south by southeast, between the Shoebox on the left corner and Oakhall Surgery on the right, enter Church Approach where, before you know it, you will see the large black open door to the Assembly Rooms on your left some fifty yards down.

You can’t miss it, because there’s this large sign above the door, overhanging the pavement.

Of course you may, being of a sensible, cautious and acquisitive nature, decide to have a dummy-run so to speak, and find the precise location of our venue during daytime. This being the case, then you may also like to visit the Tourist Information One Stop Shop a little further down on the left, or indeed cross over Church Road and look around the Church of St Nicholas’, built by William the Conqueror’s half brother Bishop Odo and started in 1080.

Failing this, and because you’ll probably have some unexpired horse tethering or car parking time left, you can always visit one or other of our town's charming restaurants or tearooms.

Whatever you decide, do pop along to join us one evening, we’re certain it will be an experience you’ll never regret.
